From birth to about 3 months - the gloves are designed for newborns and younger infants who may unknowingly scratch their faces and bodies before they learn to control their hand movements.

* “Non-scratch paws” are designed to be worn in the first months of life to prevent scratching of the baby's face and body.

* They should not be used in situations where the baby needs to move his hands freely, such as during active play. 

* The elastic welt should fit gently against the skin without causing irritation or pressure marks. 

* Make sure the gloves fit snugly, but not too tight, so that they do not put pressure on the child's wrists.
